If the energy storage capacity of the spaceship you wish to use is less than the energy stored in the ship you are already using, any excess energy from the original ship will overflow the new ship and be exhausted out into the galaxy, unable to be retrieved. For this reason, please be careful when swapping your spaceships!

Consider the following example:

If your current spaceship has:
- An energy storage capacity of 20,000 units
- And it currently has 20,000 units of energy stored inside (full capacity)

If you wish to swap it to a ship that has:
- An energy storage capacity of 10,000 units

Then:
- The energy stored in your current spaceship will exceed the new storage capacity by 10,000 units
- When you swap to the new spaceship, only 10,000 units of the original ship's energy will be transfered. The rest will be lost.
