Not getting notifications from Plant Nanny²? Here are some Android devices known to have issues with Plant Nanny² notifications. Please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot the problems!

Huawei Honor 6

A: List Plant Nanny² as a protected app

1. Go to device Settings > Tap on Power Saving
2. Tap on Protected apps
3. Toggle Plant Nanny² to Allow

B: Allow Plant Nanny² to send notifications in the Notification Manager

1.Go to device Settings > Tap on Notification Manager
2. Select Notify for Plant Nanny² to get the notifications

Huawei Honor 8

A: Make sure Plant Nanny² is a protected app

1. Go to device Settings > Tap on Advanced Settings
2. Tap on Battery Manager > Protected apps (or Close apps after screen lock)
3. Toggle Plant Nanny² to Enable

B: Disable battery optimizations for Plant Nanny²

1. Go to device Settings > Apps > Advanced
2. Tap on Ignore battery optimizations
3. Choose Plant Nanny² and ignore the optimization

C: Enable notifications from Plant Nanny²

1. Go to device Settings > Notification Panel & Status Bar
2. Tap on Notification Center and find Plant Nanny²
3. Activate Allow Notifications and Priority Display

Huawei P8 lite

A: Allow Plant Nanny² to run at startup

1. Tap on Phone Manager from the app drawer
2. Swipe left > Tap on Startup Manager
3. Tap on  Plant Nanny²  and allow it to run automatically at system startup

B: Enable notifications from Plant Nanny²

1. Tap on Phone Manager from the app drawer
2. Swipe left > Notification Manager > Rules
3. Make sure Plant Nanny² is allowed to send notifications to the notification center. Please also make sure that there are no other settings on this page blocking the notifications.

Huawei Mate 8 & Huawei Nova Plus

Make sure that Plant Nanny² is not managed/restricted by your device's battery optimization features:

1. Go to device Settings > Advanced Settings > Battery Manager
2. Tap on Protected app and toggle Plant Nanny² to enable

Huawei P20 & P30

1. Go to device Settings > Apps > Plant Nanny²
2. Tap Power usage, followed by App launch 
3. Switch Manage automatically to Off 
4. Switch Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in Background to On
