I'm Captain, but I'd like to transfer my role to another Member. What can I do?
It's ok, Captain! All your work managing the lab up until now has not gone unappreciated! If you no longer wish to serve as Lab Captain, please follow the steps below to designate a new Captain:
- Go to the lab's member list
- Look for the Member you wish to designate as Captain. Tap the "i" to the right of their name
- If they are currently a Member or Rookie, first Promote them to Vice-Captain
- Next, tap once more the "i" next to their name to Promote them to Captain
- Once they become Captain, you will become a Vice-Captain!
Will a Lab be dissolved if the Lab's leader leaves?
Not at all. After a lab's leader leaves, so long as there are still other lab members the lab will stay active.
As far as who becomes the next leader, this position will automatically be transferred to the captain who has donated the most energy to the lab so far.
Can labs be dissolved?
There's no way to directly dissolve a league on Walkr. Only when all participants have left a lab will the lab be dissolved and disappear.
How can I remove members from a Lab?
If you're the Lab leader, you can go to Walkr > Menu > Social > Members and tap the "i" button to the right of the member you would like to remove. You can then kick the member out of the Lab.
If you aren't the Lab leader but you would like to request that a non-contributing member leave the Lab, please contact the Lab leader and ask him or her to follow the steps above.
